Primark expands to UAE with three Dubai stores by 2026
Kuwait’s Avenues Mall to host first Primark in the region
DUBAI: Budget-savvy fashion lovers in the UAE are in for a major treat as Irish retail giant Primark is all set to launch not one but three stores in Dubai, with doors expected to open in early 2026.
The brand, known globally for its wallet-friendly prices and massive product variety, has partnered with retail powerhouse Alshaya Group to expand into the UAE.
The three confirmed locations are Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and City Centre Mirdif.
Affordable fashion
According to Alshaya CEO John Hadden, Dubai shoppers can expect the same competitive pricing that made Primark a household name in Europe – with t-shirts starting at Dh15 and jeans at Dh50. The brand’s mission is to “provide affordable choices for everyone,” while continuing to focus on accessible sustainable fashion.
The move signals Primark’s ambitious Middle East push, following successful operations across 17 countries so far.
The announcement has stirred excitement across Dubai’s expat community.
Primark in Middle East
Before Dubai’s trio of launches, the region’s first Primark store will open in October 2025 at The Avenues Mall in Kuwait. This sets the stage for the brand’s Middle East presence, giving Gulf shoppers access to global fashion trends at local prices.
